Every good post has interesting features that help enhance the post. For example, I really prefer seeing posts in size 1. This site automatically puts all text in size 1, but to see what a default on most sites...Click Here.
That page is from my high school role play site, and shows a variety of different text sizes. The smallest is size 1, like here. Her biography and info are shown in size 2, which is the default for most rpg sites. The largest text is size 3. Size 1 looks the neatest. To put text in a specific size, look at the section called "Add Tags" above your post. The one with the two A's is the size tag. Highlight what you want to change the size of and click the size tag, and then change the 2 to a 1.
Other tags you need to know are the I (italic), the B (bold), and the arrow (blockquote). The first two explain themselves, but the blockquote is possibly my favorite tag. Below is an example.
I always put my posts in blockquote and size 1 when role playing.
Another cool thing to do, if you role play humans, is a site called Polyvore. www.polyvore.com/ This is a site where you can create outfits. I think it's supposed to be for shopping purposes, but in the role playing world, it provides a way to show the person you role play with what your character is wearing.
This is a post I made using Polyvore:
You don't have to read the post, but notice at the top, the link that says "Amy's Outfit." The tag used for this is the globe with the page beside it. [url*=link here][*/url] This is what the tag looks like, except you would take the *'s out. ( by the way, those are called asterisks if you didn't know )
The one with the painting would the the IMG tag, or image. Helpful should you want to put a picture in your post. Highlight the link and click that painting, and it will show a picture. Like so:

This is how blockquote will appear, should you use this tag. Just highlight your entire post and click on the arrow. It will put blockquote and /blockquote on either end of your post and your post will appear like this. It makes it much neater looking, and more professional.

I was walking from the park, down the sidewalk when I spotted the Starbucks. At least this town has a Starbucks... I thought, and I sighed. I checked my pockets for cash and was glad I always carried a $20 with me. I walked into the Starbucks and looked around. It wasn't very crowded. Only one person was ahead of me in line. I remembered living in the city, and how you went into a Starbucks and could hardly get around. The person ahead of me moved aside so I walked up to the counter. "How may I help you?" the woman behind the counter asked me. I looked up at the menu board. "What do you recommend?" I asked her. "I enjoy the white mocha, myself..." she told me. "Oh, no coffee, please. Never really like it much. What kinds of smoothies do you have?" I explained. Instead of telling me, she smiled and handed me a sign that listed the fruits they could put in the smoothie.
After a moment, I decided. "Strawberry banana, please. With vanilla and 2% milk. No soy." The woman nodded and touched the screen of her computer. Touch screen, cool. So at least Starbucks is high-tech. "Whipped cream?" she asked. "Yes, please," I said with a polite smile. She left to make my drink, so I waited off to the side. No one was in line, but I still felt the need to make room.
I became lost in my thoughts, mostly day-dreaming about the coming school year. The thing I wanted most out of this coming school year, more than education of course, was a best friend. Of course, a boyfriend couldn't hurt either. I just needed some close friends. Otherwise, next summer would just be a sad repeat of this boring summer I was now suffering from. And what would I look forward to every day at school? Learning? Ha. Just because I was an A student didn't mean I actually looked enjoyed school.
The woman behind the desk tore me from my thoughts. "Your drink, miss?" she said, handing me the smoothie. "Thank you. How much?" I walked back up to the cash register and pulled out my twenty. Guess it didn't really matter how much it was. All I had was the twenty dollar bill. She told me the total and I handed her the bill. Once I got my change back, I found an empty two-person table by a window and sat, alone with my thoughts.
